A 1998 Gartner Group ™ report cites over three-quarters of technology projects exceed the original budgeted amount by at least 30%. At Axiom, we take pride in the fact that better than 90% of our projects come in at or under the original budgeted amount*.

It takes organization and discipline to create the ultimate goal: a project that is fully delivered on-time, and meets the original estimated budget. Axiom diligently commits itself to ensuring that we meet that objective.

Honesty in Estimating
Our initial estimates are highly accurate. Unfortunately, some companies provide a low price (one the client wants to see) in order to get a sale. Later the client is held hostage by an incomplete project and is forced to pay large overruns. We make every attempt to provide the most accurate estimate, even if it may be above our competitors'.

Careful, Consistent Project Management
Many consultants are just now using a "Project Plan" and a Project Task list - tools Axiom has been using for a considerable time now. Though most of our competitors do not touch their plan after delivering it to you, our process requires that we monitor and adjust the plan daily until the project is complete.

Careful, Consistent Budget Management
Every week, we review the project tasks and costs toward budget throughout the project. If there are labour or expense areas where overruns might occur, we can spot them early to prevent the project from exceeding the budget. This is the only way to ensure that the budget is met.
